Real Engagement: Josh and Sofia's Hotel Engagement (North Carolina)
The first time Sofia met Josh was at church. When he greeted her and said, "The spirit of the Lord is in this place today!" She just laughed and went on.
But then Josh kept coming over to Sofia and finally asked if he could call her. They chatted for about two months before he finally asked her out on an "official date".
After their first date, they went on to date for two more years. One weekend, Sofia went on a girls' date with her best friends to Atlanta. They insisted that they have a spa day, and said they HAD to go to happy hour somewhere. On the way to the restaurant, Sofia began noticing places she had been to with Josh. As she was reminiscing about their time together, she realized his family was walking towards her! She was standing near some fountains that splash up and then go back down, and as the fountain was coming down, she saw Josh standing in the center. He got down on one knee, and asked for her hand in marriage. To top it all off, Josh had flown her family in to celebrate with them.
