Real Wedding: Carla & Richard (Jamaica)

In this crazy and unpredictable world of New York City dating, a little over four years ago, Carla (Public Relations Account Supervisor) & Richard (Software Engineer) were fortunate enough to be struck by the “OkCupid” arrow.

On what Carla describes at the “perfect first date”, the soon to be couple met up in Manhattan to stroll through a museum and have a romantic Italian dinner. When deciding what restaurant to pick for dinner, Richard paid special attention to the fact that Carla was on a gluten-free diet, so he picked an Italian restaurant that not only offered Carla her favorite cuisine but also offered various gluten-free options.

Almost two and a half years later, on July 4, 2015, Richard proposed to Carla at a family BBQ, surrounded by close family and friends. On March 31, 2017, the couple finally said "I Do" in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
